Artwork Guidelines for Photo Upload Products

When uploading images, artwork, and designs to any of our photo products please bear in mind that we cannot guarantee colour matches on any of our products. The printing processes we use involve pressing images onto our products using a heat press and special inks. This process can get wonderful vibrant results; however it isn’t possible to colour match.

Artwork which includes very light colours, such as pale creams, pale pinks, gold, or light yellow may not look the same as the original artwork on the screen. These is also likely to be more contrast in artwork on the finished product than on the original file.

If you have any concerns about how your images, paintings or artwork is going to print please get in touch with us before placing an order so we can offer advice. We cannot take responsibility for artwork printed on our products not looking exactly the same as the original.

Glass Products

We have a range of different glass products on our website including glass chopping boards. These glass products are made from heat resistant glass which has a green tint to it. This green colour is likely to affect the colours of artwork uploaded. Images which include very light colours, such as pale creams, pale pinks, gold or light yellow will not look the same on these products. We recommend avoiding very light colours on our glass products.

Placemats & Coasters

Placemats and coasters generally print very well. These products take a long time under our presses and are therefore likely to have some colour variation from the original artwork. Photos are not generally a problem as long as they are high resolution, you are unlikely to notice a lot of variation from the original. Painting, drawings and digital artwork however are likely to have some variation. These will print well and look beautiful on the glossy surface, however they are unlikely to match original files perfectly. We do not take responsibility for artwork not looking exactly the same as the original.
